At Silk Base, we’re more than a silk underwear brand—we’re a celebration of how luxury can feel deeply personal, intimate, and effortless.

Each piece in our collection is crafted from 100% mulberry silk jersey; a rare fluid fabric that combines the beauty of silk with some stretch.  Our pieces are soft and lightweight it feels like a second skin!

Why silk?

Silk contains a unique protein called silk sericin which contains 18 essential amino acids and is believed to form a layer of protection over the skin, stimulate collagen production and help promote skin hydration - essentially "skincare" for your skin.

Our silk starts off from a cocoon spun by little silkworms with one single thread, the fine thread is then extracted and spun into yarn which then gets produced into fabric.

What Sets Us Apart From Others

Most lingerie and loungewear brands use blends containing synthetics such as nylon, polyester, or elastane. We don’t. Our pieces are made from 100% pure silk jersey
