We want to reassure you that our pieces are made from 100% silk, and we stand firmly behind the integrity of our materials. We understand that silk can sometimes feel different depending on the weave and finish, unlike silk satin, silk jersey feels softer, a little waxy and more matte.
Because of this, it can sometimes feel different from what people typically expect silk to feel like, and we completely understand how that might come across as unexpected.

We also share a burn test photo on our “What's real silk?” page to demonstrate its authenticity; unlike synthetic fabrics which melt when burned, our silk jersey simply burns and self-extinguishes, leaving behind crumbly black ash.

That said, we value your perspective on the cut and overall feel. We have many return customers who come back to buy the same briefs over and over because they like the cut and simplicity of the briefs; like the fine elastic binding around the waist and leg openings which we've written in the product description.
